I read this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yvVH5V-JGM) and follow everyting and the result is not the same.the first machine I install with has some error message but I fixed that as some parameter is not correct !
once I reinstall it SEEMS ok as the directory service can detect it (I install it on Winodws 8.1 with update 1) but it keep saying the server actively refuse the connection.my first inspection is the user name and password not type correctly, but when I do it on the other Windows 8.1 with update 1, the situation even worse than that!!
I can't even register the Sybase as the windows service!

how there are problem on the machine, please help on how to solve:
1) When install it, install it as service, allow me to choose which service I need.
2) If, in the case of my second computer, it don't allow me to choose anything at all and just run the installation itself no matter I choose typical or custom installatoin. then I can't start the sybase as the windows service. how can I fix this manually?
3) how to check the username to login to the Sybase at the first time ? sa, right? my installation of my PC which doesn't work don't even allow me to input the password for 'sa' , password empty? and how to SET the password for sa if the installation bad like that.

4) from time to time it keep saying the service is refusing my connection request for hte first time I connect, how to make it not refusing me? the connection protocol is TCP, right?
